The venue has undergone modifications to accommodate drifting, creating a fresh challenge for drivers and teams as the eight-round season approaches its conclusion.
«Seattle was a big result for us, and we want to carry that into Vegas,» said Aasbo. «It’s a new track for everybody, so the team that figures it out quickly is going to have an advantage. We’re coming in ready to fight for the win.»
Aasbo arrives in Las Vegas following his third podium of the season, having driven the Rockstar Energy Toyota GR Supra to second place at Evergreen Speedway in August. The Norwegian driver also finished second at the Long Beach opener and third in Orlando this year. Aasbo holds the record for the most event wins in Formula Drift history and is seeking a fourth championship title.
Teammate Tuerck is completing his final full-time Formula Drift campaign in the Rain-X Toyota GR Corolla before shifting his focus toward custom vehicle development, national and international appearances and content creation through his growing 411 Works operation.
