#62 Dennis Hauger (NOR – Van Amersfoort Racing Tatuus F.4 T014 Abarth)
Italian F4 Championship position: 2nd – 44 points after 5 of 20 races

#17 Jonny Edgar (GBR – Jenzer Motorsport Tatuus F.4 T014 Abarth)
Italian F4 Championship position: 16th – 7 points after 5 of 20 races

With both Jonny Edgar and Dennis Hauger featuring very strongly in the Italian F4 Championship test at the Hungaroring in the middle of June, the Red Bull Juniors are looking forward to a great weekend in the third round of the seven event series.
Hauger chasing the points lead

Though he has been very quick all year, circumstances have contrived to leave the 16-year-old Norwegian tied in second place in the point table, 56 off the lead. “I’ve got to get my head down and pick up really good points in all three races this time,” he asserted.

“For sure it is difficult to pass here and in the Italian F4 there no reverse grid, so if we can do a really good job in Qualifying we can be on pole all weekend and so that is what we will try and do.”
“I think we have a very decent car and the test went very well but I think it is still possible to bring a little more to the race weekend. We know that we can be pretty good and quick so we just need to carry on with that and keep an eye on the tyres.”
“I think that we don’t have to do too much for Qualy, we know what we need there but we will consider a few different things for race pace and hopefully sort that out in practice,” stated the Van Amersfoort Racing driver.
“I’m feeling a bit ill at the moment,» he said on Thursday morning. «A sore throat, so I hope that clears up quickly and we should have a good weekend.”
Edgar to carry on from the test
“I really like the track and the test went very well,» reported the 15-year-old Briton. «On the second day I was third overall and that’s the quickest I’ve been all year. We’ve been quicker some places than others but here seemed to be very good.”
“I think there is still more to come, I can work on getting more out of the first sector. I found the middle sector with some quite fast corners a lot of fun so I’m looking forward to a really good weekend,” added the Jenzer Motorsport youngster.
