Hauger on a roll
“Last year I had my best result there. It’s never really been my favourite track,” commented the 18-year-old Norwegian with a chuckle. “But things have always seemed to go well there.”
“Last year there it was wet so it’s going to be a bit different this time, it’s supposed to be quite warm, but you never know.”
“It’s a very technical track and quite tight through the middle sector. All the corners are sort of in a sequence so the driving technique is a bit special, you have to try and keep a rhythm and change your technique slightly compared to some other tracks. I think that is what makes it a bit special and it will be interesting to see who does the best job and which team does best.”
“Qualifying is going to be very important for the starting position for Race 3. It’s going to be hard to pass so that’s going to be so very important. Qualifying has been good for us so far this year so I’ve just got to try and keep that consistency and that rhythm.”
