Dennis Hauger og hans Red Bull Jr Team-kollega Jack Doohan er begge klare for en ny racehelg i det britiske formel 4-mesterskapet på Thruxton denne helgen.
Dette er tredje løpshelg i mesterskapet, og det skal kjøres tre fineler. En på lørdag og to på søndag. Dennis ligger på andreplass i Rookie-cup, bak Doohan, foran denne helgens løp. I mesterskapet er Dennis på en 6. plass.

Jack Doohan and Dennis Hauger continue their thrilling British F4 campaign this weekend at Thruxton. The Red Bull Juniors head the Rookie points table but that is not enough for either of the Arden drivers.
15-year-old Australian Doohan will not be content until he is heading the championship overall and is confident that he will take a step in that direction. “Definitely looking forward to the weekend. It was great fun testing there and I also had a really good session in the Red Bull sim this week so I feel ready. It’s a great track, such fast corners, 80% flat out with two chicanes.”
“Of course the car will be different, the team know what they are doing there. It is up to me to make the best of what they give me, join the dots as far as the lines are concerned and not use too much track unnecessarily.”
Out to win
“It’s my third event now and things are developing naturally. We’ll get there and we’ll fine tune things with the team. I’m aiming to get top three finishes in all three races and my first win.”
Hauger, the 15-year-old Norwegian, has already been ‘robbed’ of a first victory as the stewards judged that he had exceeded track limits on his way to crossing the line first at Donington.
So he has every reason to be confident and is well prepared. “We did a seat fitting at Arden on Wednesday because I’ve grown a bit since the original one so I’m hoping that will be good. I was in the sim today (Thursday) and we just have a single track session on Friday so I’ve just got to concentrate on doing my own thing and get ready for qualifying.”
Better now
“We did have a test earlier this year but I was sick at the time so not at my best, all good now though and I’m looking forward to the weekend. I’m not sure how interesting the track is, it feels to be about 90% full throttle but it does have a couple of interesting corners so we’ll see. There will be a lot of slipstreaming I guess with the times very tight.”
“We know that the speed is there, I am going to concentrate on keeping cool, staying calm and not doing anything stupid in the races. Then it should be good.”
