The Northern European Esports Masters (NEEM) is go, go, go! This brand-new, six-round international competition challenges competitors from eight different countries to race their nation’s colours to glory.

NEEM is an open GT4-championship for all experience levels set in iRacing, where participants from eight Northern European nations battle it out for the title across six events. To start, competitors are measured against each other in Time Attack. Following the results of Time Attack, the two top competitors in each of the five tiers will represent their country in the Clash of Nations races to fight for overall nations’ championship points. The nation ranking highest at the end of the 2023 season earns the title of Northern Europe Esports Master.

NEEM is open to any competitors from the following countries:

  • Finland
  • Germany
  • Iceland
  • Luxembourg
  • The Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Sweden
  • United Kingdom

Across the NEEM championship, competitors will find challenging opponents regardless of their skill level. The Tournament is structured in such a way that competitors are matched with rivals of similar quality, ensuring strong competition throughout. Competitors are encouraged to improve their driving skills, however, as the value of potential points earned is directly linked to their tier. The higher the level, the stronger the competition, the bigger the pay-off.

Besides the title and glory, participants in the NEEM championship compete for a prize pot totalling €12.500. The first €10.000 is to be split by the eight competing nations, with each country dividing their share of prize money (€1.250) among their 50 highest ranked competitors in Time Attack. The winning nation receives an additional €2.500 in prize money at the end of the competition.

The NEEM championship is currently up and running. Competitors have until May 21st to set their fastest times in Time Attack for the first round of the inaugural season. The Clash of Nations races for the opening round take place the following week on May 27th. The remaining five rounds of the NEEM championship are scheduled for June, September, October, November and finally December. Tune in to the official NEEM_gg Twitch channel to watch a live stream of the Tier 1 Clash of Nations races.
