On Friday, Mark Rushbrook, global director of Ford Performance, announced the Ford Multimatic Motorsports lineup for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

The sole returning full-season driver from the Mustang GT3’s debut season in the WeatherTech Championship’s Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) class is sports car veteran Mike Rockenfeller. Joining Rockenfeller in the No. 64 Mustang will be Sebastian Priaulx, a two-time GTD PRO winner during the 2024 season.

After impressive performances in their roles as endurance drivers in three of the five IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup events for Ford Multimatic Motorsports last season – the Rolex 24 At Daytona, Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring and Motul Petit Le Mans –Christopher Mies and Frédéric Vervisch move to full-season wheelmen of the No. 65 Mustang.

Filling the endurance driver roles vacated by Mies and Vervisch will be Ben Barker in the No. 64 and Dennis Olsen in the No. 65.

“Race teams are always evolving in order to drive success forward,” Rushbrook said. “This infusion of fresh talent will accelerate the performance of Mustang GT3.

“I’m excited about this driver line-up,” Rushbrook continued. “It is a fast line-up that will allow us to build on our performance in 2024, and I look forward to seeing what this team will accomplish in the coming season.”
