Stor spenning for Dennis Hauger

Kommende helg blir utrolig spennende for oss alle i Norsk Bilsport. Da har Dennis Hauger alle muligheter til å ta sammenlagtseieren i FIAs Formel 3-mesterskap, i såfall et foreløpig desidert høydepunkt i hans karriere.

Det er spenning til å ta og føle på foran helgens avslutning i Sochi i Russland. Dennis har hele 43 poengs ledelse til Jack Doohan foran disse tre siste finalene. Det skal rett og slett mye til for at ikke Dennis tar hjem tittelen. Det vil i såfall gjøre ham enda mer historisk enn han allerede er.

Selv tar han det hele med ro foran sesongavslutningen.
-Jeg ser frem til løpene og føler meg sikker på at vi kan gjøre en god jobb, hele teamet. Jeg kommer ikke til å gjøre noe annerledes enn på andre løpshelger. Vi må ta det steg for steg, og jeg er selvfølgelig klar over at det hele kan avgjøres før vi kommer til søndagens avslutningsløp, sier Dennis Hauger. Det er 65 poeng å kjempe for i Russland, så teoretisk har Doohan en mulighet til å forhindre en stor norsk triumf.

Hauger or Doohan to take F3 title in Sochi

Red Bull Juniors Dennis Hauger and Jack Doohan are head to head battling for the title. Hauger, the 18-year-old Norwegian holds a 43 point advantage over the 18-year-old Australian. The title will be decided between them. 

Fellow Juniors Jonny Edgar, Jak Crawford and Ayumu Iwasa are not in the title race but are equally determined to end the season with the best results possible including going for the race wins.

 

Hauger will keep it smart

 

“I’m looking forward to it, the track looks good on the sim and I am confident that we can do a good job. I am not going to treat it any different to any other weekend. I’ve been just working with the team as always, prepping what we can so that I can maximise everything when I get there.”

“We will take it session by session, race by race, obviously keep in mind the championship, that can be decided in Race 1 or Race 2. Keep it smart and keep it clean.”

 

Doohan without pressure

 

“It’s a new circuit for me, I’m really excited to get out on track. It seems that a lot of people don’t have much good to say about it but on the sim it seems a really cool circuit and it’s always been one of my favourite circuits of those I haven’t been to. So I’m really excited to get there and finish the year strong.”

 

“I want to end up on top if things go our way obviously, if things don’t then I want the best result possible.”

“I don’t feel that the pressure is on our side, we’ve just got to give it our all and do the best that we can in each and every session. Whatever happens outside of our control we just have to do the maximum and if in the end it’s good enough then it will be, if not then we’ll take the next best result.”

“Going there I think we are confident that we have the one lap pace, we’ve got that sorted. It’s the race pace we can be looking for. Prema has got a good race car and we are looking for a bit of race pace.”
