| Experienced rally and rallycross drivers Ole Christian Veiby and PG Andersson will mix codes for one of the most anticipated motor sport events of the season next week, as the pair join JC Raceteknik to drive a pair of converted rallycross Supercars at Rally Legend in San Marino.
The Norwegian and Swedish drivers will compete in a pair of Audi S1 RX Supercars for the 20th running of the annual event, which every year attracts a wide range of famous drivers.
The rally, run over three days, comprises of 14 competitive stages. While the two JC Raceteknik cars will run in the Legend Stars category, and not be officially timed, they will complete all of the mileage, joining some legendary cars and drivers in the class, and the event.
Veiby, who raced in a full RallyX campaign with JC this year, will be co-driven by Swede Jonas Andersson for the event, while Anders Fredriksson will navigate for PG Andersson.
Rally Legend gets underway next Thursday, October 13 and runs until Sunday October 16.

This time we go there with two cars – I’m very happy to have Ole Christian back, we have talking about this for a while now! It’s an honour to have PG in the team and it will be fun to work together, but most importantly this weekend is to go sideways and give the fans the best show.”

“Rally Legend is going to be super cool and will be one of the highlights of the season. I’m very excited to finally do another rally – it’s been a little while since the last time. We’re going there to have plenty of fun while we make a great show for the crowd. I’m really looking forward to this opportunity since I remember Mattias Ekstrom was there with the same car a couple of years ago and it looked incredible. Just the thought of doing a rally with a Supercar with that amount of power, compared to an R5 rally car for example, is going to be a fantastic experience. It’s my first time attending the Rally Legend event, from what I have seen it looks like a great show with plenty of fans and spectators. It’s a perfect place to take that car out and do some donuts and big slides!” |
